FAQ

Is the water safe to drink?

The water in the cabins is safe to drink and tested regularly. The water goes through 3 purification systems—filters, UV and chlorine. We just ask that you let the water run for a few minutes before drinking it. There is also a well in front of the residence which you are welcome to use if you chose. Many of our guests enjoy and prefer this water. Please note the well water system is not tested.

Depending on the season, you’ll encounter bugs of all sorts particularly mosquitos and black flies. Bugs and wildlife are a reality of our location. Guests should come prepared with bug spray and proper protective attire.

While we do our best to protect our cabins from pesky critters they can sometimes find their way into the cabin. We will do our best to help you manage the situation if this does occur.
